I invented an angled endpin that allows a double bassist to adjust the way the instrument balances without altering the instrument.
It builds on the work of Francois Rabbath, but makes the angled endpin more accessible in the following ways:
1. You do not have to drill into the bass.
2. You do not need a luthier to install it.
3. You can adjust the endpin to suit your instrument, body, and playing style.
The bass feels lighter and it stays in an optimal playing position with less effort.
