"Information is alienated experience"
This is the latest idea to really make me reconsider how I work with information.
I've been reading a lot of Jaron's work lately and it resonates very strongly. We're often sold to on the basis of limitless possibility and/or limitless access, but that's a myth.
The bottleneck on all this stuff is what we're able to experience. A resource like Spotify or YouTube looks really different under this lens.
We have hard limits on what we're able to experience and therefore have hard limits on information even if everything else is floating out in the ether somewhere.
